Andrew Davidson
Managing Director/Senior Project Manager
Andrew is our Managing Director, having founded the company in April 1979. He started his career as a trainee in the Lands Titles Office, later working for a conveyancer, followed by several years with a surveying business.
Andrew administers and oversees all our development projects. In his role he coordinates approvals from the relevant authorities, and works cooperatively with leading professionals including builders, town planners, surveyors and engineers to ensure client outcomes are achieved. Andrew has in-depth knowledge of the South Australian planning and tenure systems, and the legal issues around property rights. His proficiency and expert negotiations with local Council's and Authorities ensure projects run on time and on budget.
Andrew has been actively involved in the industry, and his knowledge and experience were sought by the Lands Titles Office in their implementation of the Manual of Survey Practice and the Community Titles Act. Andrew prepared the first Community Title plan to be deposited in South Australia, and in 1994 lectured at TAFE in survey drafting and subdivision design principles.
On a personal note, Andrew has a passion for energy efficient building and principles of ecological living. He has fulfilled this long term interest in this area by building a rammed earth, energy sustainable residence in the Adelaide Hills. The knowledge Andrew has gained during this period is of immense benefit to his existing and future clients who may wish to pursue environmental development solutions.
Over the 35 years Andrew has been in business, he has built lasting relationships with his clients and colleagues, many of whom return time and again for his skills and attention to detail.
